Ben has an MA degree in human rights law and has significant political experience working as press assistant to Green MEP Caroline Lucas. As a parent with a young son living in the Eastern Road area, Ben brings practical hands-on experience to his role as a board member on the Children and Young People's Trust. Ben also sits on the Equalities Forum, the Overview and Scrutiny organisation Committee, the Finance Management Sub-committee and the Sussex Police Authority. He is also the Greens' prospective parliamentary candidate for Brighton Kemptown constituency, which includes Queens Park, at the next general election.

Before being elected to represent Queen's Park, Rachel was already well known locally as a concert pianist and music teacher. As a long-standing local activist, Rachel is passionate about environmental issues. She is a member of local community groups and a volunteer with the local Tarner area youth project. These skills and experience are brought together in her role on the children and young people's overview and scrutiny committee and as the local Green Party representative on the arts commission. Rachel gives many piano recitals locally and is the founder and concert director of the St Luke's concert series.

Paul is a researcher for a local charity promoting better food and farming. As a keen cyclist, Paul is concerned with the state of transport in the Queen’s Park area and across Brighton & Hove. He strongly believes in offering local people real and viable alternatives to relying on the car. Paul sits on the Council’s Housing Committee, the Overview and Scrutiny Organisation Committee, Sustainability Commission and the Planning Applications sub-committee.
