The Brighton and Hove Green Party has moved quickly to select its candidate to contest the forthcoming by-election to be held in the Regency ward that has been triggered by the resignation through ill health of Dr Hermione Roy.

Jason Kitcat, who is chairman of the Brighton and Hove Green Party, has been selected in a three cornered contest.

Speaking after his selection Jason said:

"I am concerned about improving Regency residents’ quality of life. Whether it’s how we deal with rubbish, heating and insulation or transport, Green solutions lead to a better quality of life and waste less of our money.”
