'The aim of the event is to pull together the community in Queens Park and Craven Vale, offer them a good day out and seek their views about plans for a community centre for the neighbourhood', said Forum Chair Cllr Bill Randall. 'At the moment it has no meeting place, no facilities for kids and no primary health facilities within its boundaries. The Forum, which represents five local residents' groups, hopes to change all this with the help of the council and local health services. Everybody is welcome to join us'.
