- Switching money from roads public transport will cut pollution, reduce traffic and save lives.
- Bring railways into public ownership to restore public confidence and safety.
- Tax fuel to reduce unnecessary car use and raise money for public transport.
- Support local shops and build direct routes for walkers and cyclists.
Fairer society
- Homelessness, longer NHS waiting lists, and more school exclusions reveal the government’s failure.
- Bring empty buildings into use. Let councils build their own social housing.
- Remove all legal discrimination against The lesbian and gay community.
- Provide free eye-tests and dental treatment, and more preventive care on the Cut class sizes. Give chil- dren the individual attention they need.

- A Green economy will build social justice, cut pollution and reduce waste.
- Replace VAT with taxes on resources and pollution.
- Support businesses that pro- duce local goods for local need.
